That’s why alcemy established the Sustainable Concrete Leaders (SCL) Network in 2023, with the goal of advancing the use of sustainable concretes by connecting pioneering project developers, construction firms, and key concrete industry players. The Network serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices on clinker-efficient and low-carbon concretes. As the SCL continues to expand, one thing is clear: embodied carbon is a critical factor in building sustainability, and concrete represents a major lever in reducing emissions across the industry.
