alcemy digitizes and automates the process of constantly reviewing and adjusting setpoints. Before, roughly four hours each week was spent reviewing test results. With alcemy, that time is reclaimed: equivalent to a 10% reduction in a standard work week. Recipe-change decisions can now be made faster and with greater confidence, with alcemy becoming a cornerstone for cross-team collaboration. As the quality team explains:

The alcemy prediction model translates any changes that are reflected in the XRD, XRF, and PSD data from the finished mill samples into actionable insights, calculating their impact on both early and late mortar strength. The system predicts exactly the right fineness to keep strength on target. The result: the 95th-percentile range decreased by 33%, and the standard deviation for 1-day strength was reduced by 16%. The most significant financial benefit was increased throughput in the grinding process. alcemy’s automatic optimization maintained compressive strength targets while grinding on average 0.6% mesh325 coarser.

Because of this success, TITAN has decided to roll out alcemy further, beginning with two additional cement plants in the USA and Greece in 2026. TITAN is also piloting alcemy’s concrete solution in 3 ready-mixed concrete plants in Greece. These expanding partnerships solidify alcemy's position within TITAN's broader digital ecosystem, accelerating their path toward more intelligent, resilient operations.
